LPMGB: The Oil and Gas Publication Bulletin adopts CC BY-SA or an equivalent license as the optimal framework for the publication, distribution, use, and reuse of scholarly work.

In developing strategy and setting priorities, LPMGB: The Oil and Gas Publication Bulletin recognizes that free access is better than priced access, libre access is better than free access, and libre access under CC BY-SA or an equivalent license is better than libre access under more restrictive open licenses. The journal therefore supports the widest possible lawful dissemination and reuse of scholarly work while preserving proper attribution and openness.

This license allows users to share and adapt the material in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given, a link to the license is included, and any modifications are indicated. Any derivative work must be distributed under the same license.
