Focus and Scope

The Oil and Gas Publication Bulletin (LPMGB) is the official journal managed by the LEMIGAS Central Oil and Gas Testing Center for the dissemination of information regarding research, technological development, and laboratory testing in the oil and gas sector. Manuscripts in Indonesian are accepted from various institutions, universities, and the oil and gas industry throughout Indonesia and abroad. All manuscripts have been reviewed by at least two peer reviewers.

Peer Review Process

PROCESS / POLICY

All papers are peer-reviewed by at least two referees. Reviewers play a very important role and are required to be honest, objective, unbiased, independent, and only in favor of scientific truth. Reviewers must be critical in assessing the contents of the manuscript in accordance with their field of expertise, open about new things, keep secret the thing being assessed, and do not take personal advantage of the manuscript being assessed and have the spirit to improve the manuscript he reviewed. The reviewer has the task of assisting the Editor in determining the manuscript that can be published and helping the Author to improve the quality of the manuscript. Reviewers are required to uphold basic principles and scientific analysis in conducting the review process of a text. Reviewers must check the accuracy and correctness of data sources and references / citations / citations, the accuracy of the concept, the objectivity of the contents of the text, and carry out a neutral review. This journal uses double blind type of review process.Plagiarism check is applied in every manuscript.

The Oil and Gas Publication Bulletin (LPMGB) is published three times a year, in April, August, and December

Open Access Policy

This journal LPMGB provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

LPMGB defines Open Access as the free availability of research outputs on the public internet, permitting any user to:

  • Read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles;
  • Crawl them for indexing, or use them for any other lawful purpose;
  • Without financial, legal, or technical barriers, apart from those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.

All articles are made openly available immediately upon publication, without embargo, and in a format that supports reuse and machine-readability.
