Karakteristik Fisika Kimia Formulasi Minyak Lumas Trafo Inhibited

Transformator pada pembangkit listrik membutuhkan bahan dielektrik sebagai bahan isolasi untuk memisahkan dua atau lebih penghantar listrik yang bertegangan. Sehingga antar penghantar tersebut tidak terjadi hubung singkat yang dapat menyebabkan lompatan api atau percikan. Salah satu bahan dielektrik yang digunakan adalah minyak lumas transformator. Minyak di Indonesia masih impor, untuk itu perlu dilakukan formulasi minyak lumas trafo dengan berbagai komposisi. Kapasitas terpasang dan jumlah trafo di Indonesia cukup besar dan pemenuhan minyak trafo masih dengan cara impor. Dilakukan formulasi minyak trafo dengan berbagai komposisi untuk menghasilkan enam belas formula, kemudian diambil tiga formula yang mendekati sifat fisika kimia minyak trafo di pasaran. Dari tiga formula itu menunjukkan bahwa Formula 6 memiliki hasil uji terbaik dengan hasil uji viskositas kinematik pada temperatur 40oC 11,6 cSt, titik nyala 180oC, angka asam total 0,04 mgKOH/gr, dielectric breakdown voltage (DBV) 39 kV, dan interfacial tension (IFT) 41 mN/m. Sehingga formula ini memenuhi spesifikasi SNI 7069.18 : 2008 dan IEC 60296-2003.

Transformer of a power plant requires dielectric materials as insulation to separate two or more electrically conductive voltage substances. So that substance conductivity will not occur a short circuit that could cause fire or spark jumps. One of the dielectric material used is a lubricating oil transformer (transformer oil). Installed capacity and number of transformers in Indonesia is quite large and the fulfillment of transformer oil in Indonesia is still imported. Therefore it is necessary to formulate lubricating oil transformer with various compositions to produce at least sixteen formulas, and then it will be chosen three samples with the closest physicochemical properties of transformer oil in the market. Of the three formulas show that Formula 6 has the best test results according test results at temperatures of 40C kinematic viscosity is 11.6 cSt, flash point is 180oC, the total acid number (TAN) is 0.04 mgKOH/g, the dielectric breakdown voltage (DBV) is 39 kV, and the interfacial tension (IFT) is 41 mN/m. And this formula meets the specifications of ISO 7069.18: 2008 and IEC 60296-2003.
